How to Create a Vision Board for 2025

2 min read

A vision board is a virtual brain dump of what’s in my head when I think about the year ahead. It is often one of my first steps towards goal-setting or any type of personal growth work. I love New Years and setting goals for myself – it’s my favourite time of the year!

I really only have one tip —- Don’t overthink it!

Here’s What I Did:

  1. Grab a paper and pen, or open your Notes app and jot down the first things that comes to mind when you think of the topics below
  2. Look for a visual that represents that – I did it digitally using Canva, but you could go old school with magazine cutouts, too.

List of Topics to Visualize:

  • Health – nutrition, exercise, speed, event or race goals?
  • Mental Health – therapy, healing and self-love
  • Home – what does my “happy place” at home look like? Room refresh or renovation, garden, parties, new decor, overall vibe?
  • Money – budget, big purchases, long-term goals
  • Family – quality time, family trips or vacations, daily or other rituals, activity goals, shared experiences with my siblings and cousins
  • Spouse – quality time, date nights, daily love and affection
  • Friends – quality time, trying new things together, vulnerability
  • Faith – making time to pray, Church attendance, personal relationships
  • Work – career growth, work-life balance, working relationships, long-term goals
  • Just For Me – hobbies I want to try, personal goals, a new era…. What is the best version of me in 2025 like? What is she into?

Am I missing anything else? Let me know in the comments!
